Small Carpathian wine region in Slovakia is the largest and also the oldest in the heart of Europe, where the vines are grown on the sunny slopes of the Small Carpathians for over two millennia. Passes through the former royal city of copperas, Bratislava, Svätý Jur, Pezinok, blue and distinctive winegrowing village with typical houses to Čachtice with the legendary countess Báthory. Small Carpathian Wine Route offers a tasting in the cellars and wineries with tasting gastronomic specialties like goose or pancakes stuffed with goose liver. Typical varieties are Grüner Veltliner, Riesling Italico, girls grapes, Sylvaner, Chardonnay, Devin, royal blue and Lemberger traditional Blue Portugal.
